Do we need to be in couples therapy to attend?

Not at all. DEEPER is designed for couples who are committed to each other and want to go deeper not couples in crisis. No prior therapy experience is needed or expected.

Is this retreat only for married couples?

DEEPER is open to any committed couple whether married, engaged, or in a long-term relationship. What matters is your intention, not your legal status.

What is included in the all-inclusive price?

Your registration covers 2 nights lodging at Ocean Manor Beach Resort, all chef-prepared meals including the welcome reception and farewell brunch, all workshops and therapeutic sessions, your private 30-minute assessment with Dr. Tripp, workshop materials including your Kintsugi bowl, a couples reflection journal, and your 30-day post-retreat follow-up.

Is travel to Fort Lauderdale included?

Travel to and from Fort Lauderdale is not included. Ocean Manor Beach Resort is located directly on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is easily accessible from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, approximately 15 minutes away.

What is the Kintsugi experience?

Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken objects with gold ; The philosophy being that what is broken becomes more beautiful through the repair. During DEEPER each couple will participate in a guided Kintsugi session led by a certified facilitator. It is one of the most meaningful experiences of the weekend.

How many couples will be at the retreat?

DEEPER is intentionally limited to 12 couples. This is not a conference or a large group event. It is a deeply intimate experience where every couple receives personal attention from Dr. Tripp throughout the weekend.

What if we need to cancel?

Cancellations 30 or more days before the retreat may be eligible for a credit or replacement. Cancellations within 30 days forfeit the full retreat value. Please review the full cancellation policy or contact us directly at questions@drtrippandassociates.com with any questions before booking.

Is what we share during the retreat confidential?

Absolutely. All retreat participants agree to maintain full confidentiality of everything shared during the weekend. What happens at DEEPER stays at DEEPER. This is a non-negotiable part of the retreat experience.
