Hello! My name is Alex Escobar. I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida and received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in 2022. I have provided mental health services for clients ranging from children to adults, both in individual and group settings. I have experience assisting clients with challenges relating to anxiety, depression, grief, and various traumas. My orientation is Client-Centered and I draw from a variety of approaches, including CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing, among others.
I enter my work with humility, curiosity, and a desire to be of service. Through a holistic lens, I strive to empower clients and to provide a safe space for them to express and explore the needs of their minds and hearts. Therapy is a collaborative process and I will work with you to develop goals and coping skills that are in alignment with your values and which promote your personal growth and wellbeing.
